Logan Marek, a senior at Ironwood Ridge High in Arizona, won the boys 3,200 meters in a personal-best 9:00.61 at the fourth Sundown Track Series event at Eastmark High in Mesa, Arizona. Marek lowered his previous top mark from the Arizona Division 2 state final in May by 20 seconds to edge senior Daniel Appleford of Newbury Park High in California, who clocked 9:00.97.
