Logan Marek, an Arizona-bound senior at Ironwood Ridge, won the Division 2 boys 1,600-meter title in 4:17.87 at the Arizona State Championships at Mesa Community College. Marek secured the 1,600 crown after placing second last season. He also contributed to Ironwood Ridge capturing the 4x800-meter relay championship in 8:00.17, joining Mason Tengel, Matthew Pueschner and Nathan Richardson.
